Podcasts are great features especially when you can't listen to something and can listen to it later via podcast. One podcast my husband and I download and follow is the Chris Moyles show from BBC Radio 1. Although you can listen to the station online, its broadcast at the British time zone, 5 hours ahead. Sirius radio does have it set to our time but unfortunately we cancelled our subscription when we traded cars in 2007. So with the technology of podcast we can listen to our favorite morning show and my husband can keep in touch with his home country's music ties.
It amazes me all the new words to that are added to the dictionary such as podcast. One word off subject which I think is an awesome word added to the dictionary is mcjob – I know off subject, but had to stick it in there.
What I did learn from the tutorials is where to look for podcasts other then itunes if you don't know where to go. I'll definitely have to check it out to see what I can find that will interest me. When the author of the tutorial was going to through the websites of podcasts I saw an ad for earthlink...wow I didn't realize they were still around.
I like how apple set up RSS feeds with safari and also in mac mail. I was not aware of the software called juice to listen to ipods. I'll have to download it and check it out.
